India participates in an international scholarship fair in Costa Rica

The Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of Costa Rica organized the First International Fair of Scholarship opportunities for Higher Education, which was participated by Embassies of India, France, Germany, Switzerland, Japan and Spain, in addition of Ministries of Education, External Relations, Science and Technology, etc., from March 26-27, 2011 in San Jose. A large number of students from different universities visited the fair.  More than 1000 students visited the Indian Stall and showed interest in pursuing post graduate education in India, including short term courses under the ITEC Programme.  The Fair was inaugurated by the Minister of  Science and Technology, Mr.Alejandro Cruz who also visited the Indian stall and appreciated the Government of India’s gesture of granting  ITEC scholarships.
