Foreign Minister of Costa Rica visits India

H.E. Mr. Rene Castro Salazar, Foreign Minister of Costa Rica, accompanied by a group of businessmen, visited India from October 19-21. He inaugurated the Costa Rican Embassy in New Delhi. External Affairs Minister, Mr. S.M. Krishna hosted a lunch in honour of the visiting Foreign Minister and had official talks at the Hyderabad House. The Foreign Minister has also called on the Environment Minister Mr. Jairam Ramesh and addressed a business seminar at the Confederation of India Industry. In Bombay, the Costa Rican Foreign Minister had discussions with the business house, Mahindra & Mahindra, and Wadia Group, visited HSBC Bank and IIT, Mumbai.
