Mahatma Gandhi's bust in Medellin

The innauguration of the Mahatma Gandhi's bust at the Museum of Memory at Bicentenario Park will take place on May 21 2013 at 5:00 pm. The cityhall of Medellín and the Embassy ofIndia have installed the bust, with the help of the Honorary Indian Consulate in Medellín.  The bust was donated by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations ICCR and was brought directly from India.

CoIn Awards 2011

 The CoIn  awards 2011 ceremony took place on December 15th 2011 at the Embassy of India. These awards recognise the top Colombian importers of Indian products.  The ceremony was attended by delegates of the recognised companies, members of the India - Colombia Chamber of Commerce, officers from the Embassy, businessmen and media. The top three companies awarded were, by order of recognition,  Hyundai, Fanalca  & Auteco.  The first ten companies were told that their CEOs would be granted with a 5- year Indian visa.  During the ceremony, there was a performance of Indian dances.
