The innauguration of the Mahatma Gandhi's bust at the Museum of Memory at Bicentenario Park will take place on May 21 2013 at 5:00 pm. The cityhall of Medellín and the Embassy ofIndia have installed the bust, with the help of the Honorary Indian Consulate in Medellín. The bust was donated by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations ICCR and was brought directly from India.

Indian Minister of IT in Colombia

Shri Sachin Pilot, Minister of State for Communications & Information Tecnology of India visited Colombia on April 12 2012. Minister Pilot met the Colombian Minister of IT Mr. Diego Molano Vega and disscussed about several bilateral issues such as joint collaboration, application of new technologies and sustainable development. Minister Pilot also met important local players of IT as well as the investment agencies from Bogotá, Cali and Barranquilla. The India Colombia Chamber of Commerce hosted a lunch for Minister Pilot and in the evening the Embassy of India hosted a cocktail.
