National Defence College of India visits Colombia

A high-officers delegation from the National Defence College of india visited Colombia from 21-25 May 2012. Led by Brig.  A.K. and Defence Attache Rajiv Mehta, the delegation held meetings and disscussions with the high officer of the Colombian Armed Forces as well as with the Vice Minister of Foreig Affairs of the Colombian Defence Ministry Mrs.  Janeth Giha. The delegation also visited and exchanged experiences at the Colombian High Scool of Warcraft, the Apiay Air Base in Villavicencio and the Navy School and the Cotecmar Shilbuilding yard in Cartagena.  The visit of the NDC delegation to Colombia was very fruitful and possibilities on taking further actions on the MoU on Defense Cooperation between India and Colombia were disscussed.

The vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Colombian Ministry of Defence Mrs. Janeth Giha receives a crest from Brigadier Jha.

The delegation also visited the Apiay Air Force Base.
