Extension Short Validity Passport

With the introduction of Machine Readable Passports(printed in India) extension of short validity passports from this Embassy is not possible. The applicant should apply for a Fresh Passport with 10 year /5 year (in case of children) validity, well before the expiry of the short validity passport. Machine Readable Passports printed in India will be issued in all such cases. Please see details for issue of such passports at the beginning of the Passport Services page.
