Services for Indians

Applicants for Miscellaneous passport services are required to fill out necessary form for Miscellaneous services (click for application form) and submit their passports along with photocopies of their resident card or any other proof of their lawful residence in the jurisdiction of the Embassy. Following are the normal miscellaneous passport services along with the conditions to be fulfilled for availing these services:

1. Attestation of Documents
2. ECNR(Emigration Clearance Not Required)
3. Death of Indian nationals abroad
4. Sending ashes to India
5. Police Clearance Certificate/Certificate of Character
6. Issue of Birth Certificate
7. Attestation of Power of Attorney(POA)
8. Renunciation of Indian citizenship

NOTE :

For all the above mentioned services, the applicant has to submit his original passport with its photocopy.

Any document not in English, submitted for any service must be accompanied by an authorized/official translation of the contents of the document.

Emergency services can be provided by the Embassy in genuine cases even on holidays. Receipt of Applications 09:00 hours -12:00 hours (working days)

Delivery 15:00 hours -17:00 hours (working days)
