Visitors to Costa Rica: From 15 June 2007, all Indian nationals who are resident in USA, EU or Canada, or have a visa to enter USA, EU or Canada, do not need a visa for Costa Rica for Stay of up to 30 days (Notification No. DG-1087-2007 dated 24 May 2007). Those not falling in this category or wishing to stay for a longer period must have visa. Hony. Consul General of Costa Rica in India: Mr. Pavan G. Morarka
The Hony. Consul General of Costa Rica in India can issue visas for Costa Rica for a period of 30 days subject to the following requirements:
1.
Passport should be valid for at least 6 months.
2.
Visa Application Form has to be filled up.
3.
Color photograph of the applicant
4.
Return ticket / travel itinerary
5.
Proof of economic status, etc (bank statement)
6.
In case of Business Visa, original invitation letter from a company in Costa Rica.
Visa Fee of US $ 20 is collected on arrival at the airport.
The Hony. Consul of Costa Rica in India also grants the following Consular services free of charge:
Attestation of Birth Certificates, Police Clearance Certificates, Marriage Certificates, Power of Attorney and Commercial documents after the same have been attested by the Ministry of External Affairs, India.
