International Food Festival in BogotA
The Embassy of India participated in the International Food Festival organized by the Diplomatic Spouses Association of Colombia at Hotel La Fontana in Bogotá on 17 May 2008. Proceeds of sale of food items were donated to charity.
About 25 countries having diplomatic representation in Colombia participated in the event. Spouses of the diplomats and officials of the Embassy of India in Bogotá prepared delicious Indian food in the form of Samosas, Meat Koftas, Parathas and Gulab Jamun that were highly appreciated by the visitors. The ornately decorated Indian stall in the Festival attracted immense media and public attention. Mrs. Colombia and other prominent guests of the festival visited the Indian stall.
