1. Tourist Visa (up to One Year)

Requirements: -Application form duly filled in Capital letters. -Two recent photographs-front pose. -Yellow fever certificate. –

Fee: Up to six months Col Pesos. 108.000.

Please note :Tourist visa is not extendable beyond its specified validity. Each Stay not to exceed 180 days.


2. Business Visa (One Year)
Requirements: -Application form duly filled in Capital letters. -Two recent photographs-front pose. -Yellow fever certificate. Summary page of last two months bank statements showing the account balance.  Business Visa application should attach Business Invitation from the company in India and his/her company profile in Letter Head giving address and signature of the Executive of the company. Embassy reserves the right to examine any other document or to interview the person as and when necessary.

For Ecuadorian Nationals:

For Costa Rican Nationals

Fee: US$ 120

3.   Employment visa (up to One Year)

One year employment visas for first- time employment in India are processed by this Embassy.  All cases of renewal of Employment Visas or change of Employer in India need to be processed in India as per the requirement of FRRO (Foreigners Regional Registration Office). This Embassy will not be able to entertain any renewal cases.

4. Student Visa (For the Duration of the Course)
Requirements: -Application form duly filled in Capital letters. -Two recent photographs-front pose. -Yellow fever certificate. Letter of admission from recognized Indian University/Institute –

 Fee:   Col Pesos.203000/-

5. Medical /XV/Training/ family visa etc.
Medical Visas can be issued for those seeking to go to India for specialized medical treatment in recognized and reputed hospital/treatment centres. Medical documentation will be sought by the Consular Officer, who can be consulted for details of all the above visas including period of visa at email indcons@cable.net.co or Tel No. 3174865

 Fee:  For up to six months: Col Pesos 216000

         For up to one year: Col Pesos 324000

6. Transit Visa
Duration : 15  days single/double entry only.
Requirements: -Application form duly filled in Capital letters. -Two recent photographs-front pose. -Yellow fever certificate. - Confirmed Air-Ticket –

Fee:  Col Pesos 54000

For Ecuadorian and Costa Rican nationals:

Fee: US$20

7. Five-year Visa (multiple entries)
Issued as special cases; requirements for documents/interview should be verified in consultation with the consular officer at email indcons@cable.net.co or Tel No. 3174865.
Requirements: -Application form duly filled in Capital letters. -Two recent photographs-front pose. -Yellow fever certificate.

Fee : For Tourist Visa: Col Pesos : 351000

         For Business Visa: Col Peso: 540000

         For Medical /XV/Training/ family visa: Col Peso 540000

For Ecuadorian nationals

Fee : For Tourist Visa: US $ 130

         For Business Visa: US $ 320

         For Medical /XV/Training/ family visa: US $ 200

For Costa Rican nationals

Fee : For Tourist Visa: US $ 130

         For Business Visa: US $ 200

         For Medical /XV/Training/ family visa: US $ 200

Other nationalities should apply for this category of visa in their country of residence/nationality.

8. For applicants other than nationals of Colombia, Ecuador and Costa Rica: An additional fees of Col Pesos. 54000/- will be levied as mandatory processing fees.

9. For U.S. Citizens, an additional fee of Col Pesos 54000/- will be levied along with the normal visa fee.

Mail Service


Embassy accepts by Mail applications for Visa/Passport and other miscellaneous consular services. Such applications are normally processed immediately on receipt provided they are complete in all respects. Discrepancies if any will be notified to the applicants and any missing papers, documents should be sent to the Embassy in original. Fax copies/photo copies are not accepted. Requisite fees in US dollars or Colombian Pesos are required to be paid by Bank transfer or deposit (no personal cheques or credit card) into the bank account of Embassy of India, Bogotá. Documents may be sent by prepaid courier to the Embassy both for receipt and despatch back to the applicants after grant/denial of service. Fees must not be sent in cash by mail. Embassy will not be responsible for cash sent by mail. Embassy account details for bank transfer/deposit are:

Notes:

Foreigners of Indian Origin:
Foreigners of Indian origin desiring to visit India for short periods each year to meet their relatives etc. can be granted 5 years multiple entry ‘X' visa with a stipulation that each stay shall not exceed 180 days. In this case no registration would be required if the foreigner does not stay beyond 180 days. In case a foreigner of Indian origin is desirous of staying continuously for longer period, the Mission could grant up to 5 year validity ‘X' visa without the limitation of 180 days. In the latter case, the usual condition of registration required within 14 days of first arrival in India (as per the foot note on the visa sticker) would apply.

The nationals of the following countries can be granted Gratis Visa
Afghanistan, Argentina, Bangladesh, Jamaica, Mauritius, Mongolia, Maldives, North Korea (DPRK),  Slovak Republic, South Africa and Uruguay.
No visa is required for nationals of Nepal and Bhutan.
